Girls Out Loud is an award-winning, UK based social enterprise set up in 2009 by serial entrepreneur and inspirational speaker/coach Jane Kenyon and business woman, Ambassador for enterprise and media personality Claire Young - with the aim to raise the aspirations of young girls between the ages of 13-18. Girls Out Loud facilitates intervention programmes in schools from one day to 3 months in duration.





The emphasis of Girls Out Loud is to embed a more empowering mindset in girls, which in turn, reconnects them to education, helps them achieve exam success and broadens their aspirations, encourages them to find their individual voice, make better life decisions, improve their self image and become role models for future generations.

Rachel Ward Lilley - Director & Head 'Big Sister'
Rachel left school at the age of 16, and started working as a sales and marketing assistant. By the age of 29, having established herself as head of Special Sales for Penguin Books, she found herself ready for a new challenge. She enrolled at the University of Manchester as a mature and independent student, and studied for a degree in psychology.
